This stone has been used by humans for thousands of years. Many legends are therefore associated with it. One of them, dating from Ancient Greece, tells that Malachite protected against injuries. Soldiers therefore wore it during battles. For the Romans, Malachite had the power to protect from lightning. Malachite is a copper-rich stone that is sometimes (when one is lucky) found associated with other copper minerals such as Chrysocolla.
