The little extra: These wonderful candles are made with soy wax that respects your health and the environment, and natural gemstones. The wax in our candles is 100% natural, non-polluting, lightly scented, and infused with the energy of the crystal it enhances. As we hand-pour these candles, we pay particular attention to the intention they will convey for you. When your candle is finished, simply clean the glass with hot water and soap (do not put the container in the dishwasher). The container can be used as a small vase, a drinking glass (for both hot and cold drinks), a brush holder, etc.

The name Amethyst comes from the Greek word "amethystos" which means "not intoxicated". The Greeks regularly drank from Amethyst cups to slow the effects of alcohol. According to a Greek legend, the god of wine Dionysus fell madly in love with a beautiful young girl named Amethystos. He coveted her, but she wished to preserve her purity. She therefore implored the goddess Artemis, who, to protect her, transformed her into a beautiful colorless crystal. Dionysus, furious, then threw his wine cup onto the crystal, thus giving it its purple color.
