A little extra: These wonderful candles are made with soy wax that is respectful of your health and the environment, and natural gemstones. The wax in our candles is 100% natural, non-polluting, lightly scented, and infused with the energy of the crystal it enhances. While we hand-pour these candles, we take particular care in the intention they will convey for you. When your candle is finished, simply clean the glass with hot water and soap (do not put the container in the dishwasher). The name Lapis-Lazuli comes from the Latin word "lapis" meaning "stone" and the Arabic "azul" meaning "blue". In ancient Egypt, this beautiful gemstone represented power and was highly prized by the pharaohs. Lapis-Lazuli was long ground into powder and used to create the color blue. It was not until the 18th century that this pigment was synthesized.
