The name Rock Crystal is said to come from the Greek word "krystallos" which means "ice". The Greeks believed that Rock Crystal was actually frozen water that could not return to its liquid state. This stone was therefore said to be refreshing.
At the time, Rock Crystal was associated with Gaia, the mother goddess, the Earth. Today, this beautiful gemstone is said, among other things, to recharge other gemstones and amplify their effects.
