Dimensions: 14.7 cm high and 12 cm at its widest approximately.

Origin: Brazil.

Please note that the surface of the stone is not perfectly smooth. A chip is visible on the bottom left in the first photo.

Smoky Quartz owes its beautiful color, which can vary from light brown to almost opaque dark brown, to natural irradiation. In the 12th century, in China, Smoky Quartz was cut into plates and used to create sunglasses. In the 19th century, this lovely gemstone was said to be highly prized by fortune tellers, who preferred it to Rock Crystal because its captivating color concealed secrets from the uninitiated.
