Uvarovite Garnet is one of the rarest gemstones in the Garnet family, prized for its intense and uniform emerald green. Rather than forming large, transparent stones, it is typically found in small crystals or druses, making it an exceptional jewel for collectors. Discovered in 1832 in the Urals by mineralogist Germain Henri Hess, it is named after Count Sergey Uvarov, a mineral enthusiast and former president of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
